Something fairly simple. The largest possible starfish from the largest possible pentagon cut from a square of 15 cm origami paper:

Edit: Just folded a significantly larger starfish. The pictured one is the largest possible flat, clean-armed starfish. Pleat-sinking a pentagonal waterbomb base and then adding a couple of spread-sinks will give the largest possible starfish, but the arms come out ugly.

These are things I folded about two weeks ago, but until now I was too lazy to take photos of them.
Satoshi Kamiya's little bird from double mc tissue paper

Sitting on a Hortensienkugel made from a set of 90 precut sheets of 4,8x8cm paper. The paper is fantastic, it changes its colour depending on the light and on how you hold it. The colour spectrum reaches from turquoise with violet shining to green, orange, yellow and blue. Too bad I couldn´t find larger sheets of this paper than the precut package.

Langs Cicada (Origami Insects And Their Kin) from foilpaper that loses its colour easily...

5-piece T-Rex Skeleton by Peter Budai
From one 15 cm and four 7.5 cm squares of Japanese foil.
It's kind of cool. The ribs were made from a point-split bird base on the large square. Unfortunately you need glue to hold the parts together.

Anna could you please share your thoughts on this model? Is it as amazing as people were saying during OUSA07? Is it really closed on all its sides? I was able to get very close to the ones folded by Kamiya, but since you can not touch the models I could never find out.origami_8 wrote:These are things I folded about two weeks ago, but until now I was too lazy to take photos of them.
