Seriously, that looks amazing. And if Ben really diagrammed his Iguana, then WOW.

Look for me in it next year :)

=P~ Gosh, all you can ever want, Kamiya's Lion, Komatsu's Lion, Friedman's Hawk, Eric Joisel... The best convention book in my opinion. Just to clarify, is Komatsu's lion the one he published the cp for in one of the Tanteidan magazines?

I was again at the tantaidan convention and I had the great honour to take part in komatsu hideo's lion's class... :P
he gave his just recently drawn lion's diagrams to all the participants, who really got into it and folded non-stop throughout the whole time. and I have to say that these diagrams include the most fascinating folding sequences I at least have ever seen  (by the way: 226 steps)

but the lion-diagrams in the convention-book are the ones of his "bwe lion" (55 steps)

besides: he planned to publish an own book, that should have been sold at the convention this year but he wasn't able to finish it until now...

Publish his own book? If he names it "Works of Hideo Komatsu", then i might get suspicious seeing as I e-mailed him a while back asking if he was ever planning to write a book and call it Works of Hideo Komatsu...

Well, I see that I have two books to buy now :D

I already keep an eye on these diagrams
It's past 4 in the morning and I am awake just in case that some origami-freak suddenly enters my room...
(no... not really, I have other purposes right now to stay up)

There's not much in this book, but the few things in it look great. Quality over quantity :)

I'm buying this just for Komatsu's Lion diagrams! Have been trying to fold this for ages!
