Yeah I'd love it if someone could post a video...
Or at least show alternate angles/steps for steps 35-40?
I get really confused during the twisting and rotating part...

Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Asking only three days after the original post if there isn´t anyone who could help is just annoying. Most of us here have a lot of work to do besides Origami and if we want to help we will do when we find the time and not when someone asks annoying questions.

Is there a diagram?
I had left pass a long time since my investigation about how to make the horizontal line H and the Q point of this CP. Probably too afraid on facing this challenge  Anyway, yesternight I gave it a try with the info here gathered and this was my first result:

tomorrow I'll try it again and make some pictures (paper is regular wrapping paper so be nice with the poor little fellow :P )

anyway I'm SO HAPPY :D this is my first CP!!

Decided to try the rose with gift wrap... Took some pics here --- still don't know how to shape the rose at all.

Pics are here (my flickr account):

First of all tuck the ends into each other. Then carefully take the innermost layers and begin to twirl them around.

There are diagrams in the 12th Tanteidan Convention Book.

Hi, I don't have the diagrams yet, but I posted in my blog my experience solving the CP with all the info here existing, also made a pdf half diagram, half photo diagram about it, and Mister Lang himself have read it and allowed me to share this experience with everybody who could like to. He is really a Master!

Is there if you like, I'll very happy if anyone pass there.

regards.

Has anyone successfully followed the steps in the OUSA2007 book? i have been having a nerve racking time figuring out how to complete the steps from 16-27.

i printed the cp and solved it. my rose looked pretty. i have now tried to fold it from giftwrapping paper (a bit like craft paper). and found the horizontal creases without reference finder, (i have an explanation drawn out, but can't upload it). after i twisted it in to shape, it twisted back out. do i need to lock it in anyway? please help.

hi everyone!
I just got the "diagrams" from one of the links. I have successfully got all the creases. However, i am have great difficulties trying to collapse it. I don't understand it at all!! I can also tell that i will have difficulty forming the petals.

Can someone assist me in collapsing the model??
