I got that book lately, and I'm really surpriesed about the quiality of that hardcover origami book. it's surely made vor excessive use

I tried to fold the frog a couple of times, but although I came through to the end, I'm very disappointed about the missing closing mechanism. even with foil, I could hardly get the arms to stay in postition :/ has anybody folded that frog and made a similar experience?

oh, I folded it some more times and with the double ammount of aluminium foil it worked perfekt.

I used single colour paper, so I had to add the eyes, but it's nice anyways

I asked him for hints as well, but they weren't helpful. Basically he said that it wasn't math related, which is frustrating because that's my natural approach.

I tihnk I have an idea of the two letters that are given, but I have no idea of how to derive the other numbers from what is given, and if the final result is in French then I haven't even use that for context.

Here is what he sent to me when I first asked:

1/ Why p11 #10 give the letter "t"
Check the rule with p54 #32 give "a"

2/ When you inderstand the first rule, you must know how to find all the other number. No math method ! Just look at preciously the book.

3/ Then find all the others letters and read the word. And send it to me !

When I said something about calculating the other numbers, he said:

No calcul !
Look only carefuly the book !

I still haven't been able to figure it out. I haven't given it much thought lately, though. My problem is that I keep trying to do math with the numbers... I think that's my problem, anyway.

Maybe he's referring to letters on certain pages in the book?
I don't really know what you all mean with this "code", but I assume it's some little secret hidden in the book?

maybe with p11 #10 he means the tenth letter on page eleven?

Yes, itÂ´s clear that that is meant. The only question is how to find out the missing numbers to find out the letters to complete the code.

My feeling (without any reason why) would be that the searched pages could be 11, 21, 30, 43, 54, 63, 70, 82, 92, does anyone feel the same?

But I have no clue how to come to the number of the searched letters

That is my current theory, and it holds true for the two number pairs. However, I'm left with no clue as to what the other number pairs are to be able to find the other letters, which is a problem.

I have noticed the dots as well, as I assume the same thing, but I still haven't been able to use that to make progress. None of the p's are 1 digit, only a couple of the #'s. Only the last p is 3 digits. From that I would assume that all of the p numbers are increasing, although that could be off base.

It's nice to see your efforts to find the code.
I insist on the fact that no math is needed. Just carefuly look at the book preciously to find the number.
So, to resume as Malachi said :

1/ Find why p11 #10 give the letter "t"

yes it's a french word but finding the rules, you will not have problem to find it ! And no, it's not "Tanteidan" !

In order to give you more motivation, I've just add a new exclusive diagram in this secret section.

Who will be the first to crack the code !
