Well, since a pineapple has already been done (and since my pineapple didn't turn out too well ), I decided on a radish. I don't like radishes, personally, but they look cool. For those of you who are into that kind of thing, enjoy:
I've finally gotten around to folding the broccoli
I was actually surprised how long it took me to fold the CP. I remember the first time it took a while, but I guess that I just forgot how it went.
Looks like cauliflower to me...but trivialities aside, it looks like he used the edge of the paper and made it frilly for the texture. Perhaps open-sinking a bunch of standard 22.5 degree flaps and flaring them out some would get the effect you're looking for?
I also think that it looks more like cauliflower. Broccoli is longer and thinner and green. Sure it's only a part of cauliflower missing the outer leaves, but the same would be true for broccoli.
oh cool, I see you've found my broccoli/cauliflower
I've been folding a few things recently which were attempts at vegetables like that:
"Cauliflower"
"Broccoli Floret"
"Artichoke"
I'm so sorry, I will go far away in the next 3 days. I don't have time to post the reply who will win on 31st Jan. So I will post later but I will post the next challenge. ^__^ I'm sorry everybody!
