Crimple mushroom, first attempt. Apologies for the dirty thumbnail!

Not brilliant, but not bad for someone who's only been really serious for a few months.

My Joisel dwarfs are looking pretty darn nice! Pics to follow

i folded joisel's dwarf :D it was my first cp so i'm proud of myself. He's pretty ugly since he's made out of copy paper but i'll post him anyways and do another pretty one soon.

Your models look excellent !

I have a few suggestions for the photos:
1. The grainy effect may be due to making the pictures too large. It looks like you may have exceeded resolution.

2. See if there is some way to put more light on the models, and from different angles to avoid shadows. Try not to use the flash, because it makes harsh light and difficult shadows. I take photos in my bathroom or kitchen, where I have bright light... then I diffuse the light by using a cheap white umbrella.

3. In your graphics software, you might also try tweaking some controls, such as the noise levels.

It takes a while and a lot of experiments to gain experience with your specific set up.

You might also look at posted photos and ask very specific questions ... rather than "great photos, how'd you do it?", maybe something like " I like your model, how do you do the lighting, or how do you do the background, or how did you make them so sharp...

I decided it was about time for me to design a dragon (a successful one, that is-believe me, I've tried before). After a week or so of experimentation, I finally came up with a design I like.

Disclaimer: I want to fold it a second time from better paper...

Johnnycakes, your dragon looks nice. Is it boxpleated? I think the paper is a good choice for your model as it gives more of a lightning feel to it.

Not box-pleated at all-unless you count a strip graft as box-pleating :P I really like what I came up with for this design, so I will probably post a CP sometime...I am currently trying out Inkscape for drawing CPs-it looks promising, but I am having some problems...

Twelve headed Hydra by Eileen Tan from 25cm mc double tissue paper. This model is soooo cute!
Unfortunately it is so small that my camera couldn't get sharp pictures even with super makro zoom and good lightning, sigh.

i also tryed to fold the wonderful looking lion, but the paper you can get from Terrys site seems to be too thick for that kind of stuff...(at least for me ;))
