Nifty. Would that happen to have a 5-"leg" base? The angle makes it look like there is, but the fact that it's 5, a notoriously origami-unfriendly number and that I can't see a fifth flap down there makes me question.

Haven't seen one of those in Origami before :-)
I really like objects in origami (a lot more than animals). Your chair is both very original and nice. Glad you are back.

Yes, there are 5 legs there, you can see a tiny bit of the fifth leg on the second picture.

In Boxpleating 5 is actually quite easy to achieve.
Here a bad drawing of the part of the CP that forms the legs (X).

Code: Select all

So long and keep folding ^_^

You don't see wheeless chairs, but I think it looks good as it is. :D

Yeah, I was just kidding about the wheels, but maybe that is an inspiration?
Anyway, does a word like wheeless exist? I guess in Scotland it does, but then it would be "a whee less", meaning "a bit less"?
Makes you think, doesn't it?

Anyway, Daydreamer, keep up the good work!

Well, actually you could change the tips of the leg-flaps into (colour-changed) wheels, but I was just to lazy to do that... :)
So long and keep folding ^_^

Android raptor, your shinx needs a little work, try making the legs color change a little and fold a nose on the face, good luck!

Back legs are color change (I used blue on dark blue paper because I didn't have any black and blue), but that is a good idea about the nose! I'll get to work!
