1st Test Fold with Tissue Foil

Hi!
I just made my very first Tissue foil, both sides white, with the help from Chris's (TheRealChris) video (thanx to Chris and Anna for recording the process).

Could you please provide suggestions about the 1st model I should try to fold with the tissue foil?
Preferably models that are not too difficult and suitable to practice my shaping/sculpting skill.
Could be models from these books that I already have: Works of Satoshi Kamiya, Passion Origami and Origami for Interpreters. Or models with free available diagrams from the internet.

Passion Origami is designed for tissue-foil.

maybe the first model to fold from tissue foil shouldn't be too complex or at least a model that you are familiar with... just to get used to the paper. fold a model that you've already folded before.

So I folded a model that I had folded before and it's not too complex either.
I folded the Cat by Anibal Voyer.
I didn't apply the glue well, causing wrinkles everywhere. And shaping was alot easier.

This is my first attempt folding tissue foil:

Those wrinkles aren't too bad at all. I have not made too much tissue foil, but I haven't been able to make a sheet that wasn't very wrinkly. Very good job with your first piece of tissue foil!

The wrinkles actually don't look that bad. Yours look uniform.... mine usualy come out veiny and kind of grotesquely organic, haha.

I directly used glue stick to make the tissue foil.. lol

Apparently it kinda worked.. no time wasted waiting for the foil to dry

I don't know the glue's formula, but it sticked pretty well.

The only problem is attaching the tissue and the foil properly. I guess I need to roll the tissue paper tighter next time and find a really sharp cutter.

Guh, you probably used half of that glue stick, didn't you? I guess it works if you don't have a good place to use spray glue...

Actually no.. I just used about one fifth of the stick

Yeah, it's an option if you don't wanna use spray glue.

Ive heard thousands of times about glue spray, but i have never found one. Ive always used glue stick. If not used with care, its brings many bubbles to the paper. If you use bad paper, it burns the color with the glue and gives a very bad result. And the paper wrinkles very easy when wets with the glue. But besides of that, its a wonderful tool. With a little glue pencil, you can make like five sheets.
Its a very easy paper to fold and esculpt. But after a while it becomes just a training paper.
