but I guess that's nothing new...anyway, I designed a T4 Bacteriophage for this month's (March) challenge. Folded from a hexagon.

Penguin, designed March '08 from a single uncut square.

Who has ever been bitten by a penguin?
In 2001 an oil tanker hit the rocks just off the coast of South Africa. All the penguins were covered in oil and could not swim. Many people worked together to save as many as possible. It was a big task, they had to be captured, washed and fed while they were kept in a area outside the sea (waiting for the sea to clear). They look so cute, but they can really bite. It was a great experience, and I've still got all my fingers!!

Yeah-I was looking forward to entering, but it's not too big a deal to me. The actual designing is a lot more valuable than the contest itself.

There is no head yet, and the arms/legs are lacking in detail.

I'm also planning to use the same base for Falco and Wolf if this is successful.

The pose and cape are already very nice.

The head seems to need a bit of work still (or maybe I just can't see it clear enough on the picture) In my opinion the head should be a smooth surface since he's wearing his mask.

It would be awesome if you could make that one shining eye but since the head appears to come more from the middle of the paper that's gonna be difficult...

Thanks-and you are right, the head needs work. Part of it is the size of paper that I used-a 10" sheet divided diagonally into 48ths, and the head is about 1/48th tall. Part of it is I still need to work out the shaping a little bit, so hopefully my next fold will be more presentable.
