Well done on the mask-I tried it and it didn't turn out nearly as well as yours. There is a lot of approximation. Good job!

This is the hardest thing I find, breathing life into finished pieces.
As I don't wet fold or MC - "re-size" or anything, just the cheapest possible butter or typing paper, I guess I'm at a disadvantage.

You and your funky reference points. The first ones were pretty normal, but then you had some that looked obvious...

Not sure that you would fold it this way--I used concentric pleat-sinking to narrow the legs, and a bunch of spread-sinks in the abdomen. Also, all those visible creases were me mis-estimating the reference points.

I think the legs need to be longer.

I'm happy with my most recent challenge: to fold a Hojyo Takashi Buddha from a 15x15cm regular wrapping paper

(it was close to a nightmare
