Origami at odd places

Post by nonkelgans »

At what odd places did you encounter Origami, or where did you least expect them??

Mine was at the crematorium inside Concentrationcamp Buchenwald in Germany.

That's pretty cool actually. Great picture. At my bank they were giving out little packets of origami paper with instructions for five simple models. It somehow tied into a promo for them, I don't remember what.

Yeah, my bank doesn't give me that.

Thanx for the compliment on the picture, it's a scanned 6x4.5cm negative taken with my Bronica ETRSi, i'm an oldtimer when it comes to camera's and I still use film. I left a Orgami dragon at the crematorium, many people looked strange when I putted it down there.

I left several V's ( designed by Brian Chan ) at random places at my school today. Most people didn't have a clue about what it was though. :(

I haven't actually encountered any origami in strange places, other than the origami models that I folded myself.

I just remembered-there were some origami flowers folded from copy paper arranged with stems in a vase in the University of Akron library. Nothing too special, but interesting nonetheless.
