This is in response to firstfold's challenge on the How do you create a model of your own design? topic viewtopic.php?t=3733 I felt it was better to post it here.

Great! love the Owl pop-up card, firstfold! (I especially love the owl).
Really nice design there, notefolds! I just read the challenge.. I'm a beginner and haven't been really trying to design something. I'll see what I can do... A pop-up card sounds like fun.

After making Forcher's fox, I wanted to make it colour changed to match a real fox's colouration. Then my 3-year-old thought it was a bunny, so I turned it into a bunny. The results can be seen here:

hehe.. yup! it's a bunny now..

The color changes looked better and suitable for a fox. Going to try that too, and I'm thinking about color change on the tip of it's tail.

I thought about that, but decided not to. it would shorten the tail too much.

It looks better in real, but I couldn't get any better photo.

Girl with long hair by me (with many help by Gerwin).
I'm pleased how the head turned out, the body still needs some work.

I tried to make a phoenix based on the crane... Didn't work out well, just made a crane with five tails in the end

And i'm very proud that i can finally get the pics on the page!! I used to only post links!!

Wow, Anna! The tessellation looks great! Is that self designed or from a diagram? And if from a digram, what is the source? I've always been a fan of geometric designs in paper.
