Cool, but it looks like an acrocanthosaurus to me.

ori_dragon3 (and everyone else): Please remember if you are going to use the funny smileys from the mysmiley site, don't copy the spam links. We really don't need links to the irritable bowel syndrome website from your smiley. Thanks.
Yes, I am that Joseph Wu. Not that it really matters. And please call me Joseph or Joe. "Mr. Wu" is my dad. :)

If you roll your mouse cursor over the smiley in ori_dragon3's post, you'll see that's exactly where the link leads.

Seems like a part of normal English to me. Why do you feel the need to create a tempest in a teapot?

Ori_dragon3, I'm starting to doubt that you're really 10 years old, but if you are, than you have potential to be a great designer! I'm only saying that because it has fingers Image However, I don't think you were actually planning to make a spinosaurus when you folded that model. Why are there 2 large flaps sticking out of its butt? You should use that extra paper to lengthen the tail, spine and hind legs, as they are obviously too small. Actually it looks more like another species of herbivorous dinosaur. I wish I remember what its name was...

Complex/Super Complex designers are starting younger and younger. There are a few around the age of 10 or so.

Today I test-folded Kamiya's Ancient Dragon. From a 50 by 50 cm square of foil paper.
Image
Took me exactly 3 hours to fold. Stupid foil paper won't stop tearing. Now the belly is covered in scotch tape.

Anna, your girl figure is very cute! She can make a perfect 'Goldilocks' from the fairytale. We could have that theme for a monthly challenge

Saying that, i saw your flickr gallery by-chance...the detailed instructions for the koi scales is awesome. It would be great if you uploaded all your folds there :D

Petal Box Bowl

Post by cedison »

The intersection of boxpleating and goran pleating continues. Largest container so far.

Cupcake: Cute millipede.
Qtrollip: Hope to also see you there. Just look for a short, fat, befuddled, white woman creasing parallel lines ad nauseum.
tanvuong85:I absolutely love your stylized horse.

Yes I do fold things other than bowls and tessellations, just not often or as well as I'd like.
