What have you folded lately?

Post by gordigami »

Rudolf :
That is an exceptional cicada that you designed ! Looking at your Flickr site, you have many cleanly designed models, amongst which, I find that the grasshopper really stands out .
Have you published a book of your designs, or are you contemplating doing so ?
Afraid that my exposure to German (?) publications is woefully limited .
Thanks !
May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,
with all its peaks & depths, as well as Origami .

That is a wonderful cicada! It is such a clean looking design-I really like how there are no lines from extra layers on the wings or body.

I love that phoenix. The CP can be found on your flickr, right? I'm gonna try to fold it this weekend.

I folded 2 Passion Flower Balls, from the book Marvelous Modular Origami. Takes ages to fold them, but they look great. I had to use the forbidden substance ( aka 'glue' ) in order to assemble it, because Kami simply isn't stiff enough to not fall apart.
