wow awesome dragon the neck ridges give a great effect. Could you please post more photos of it and how many legs does it have i cant tell?

I doubt I could fold that for a long while.

Hi Jonnycakes,

That's only the second time now that I've seen hex pleating, the first being Robert Lang's scorpion. Where can I find out more information about it?

That is the only instance of hex-pleating that I have seen as well. I managed to figure out some techniques with it because it is essentially a cross between 22.5 degree angle structures and box-pleating (fitting on a grid). I could perhaps put together a small guide to it if you would like.

Also, if my CP (or Lang's, for that matter) is confusing, it may be because the are both very complicated (Lang's more so than mine). A simpler CP might be easier to conceptualize.

That would be good. Although, it would be pointless for me because I don't know how to design via box pleating. Maybe after I get ODS.

I would still love to see a guide.

A small guide would be great! I can make out various parts in your CP, but not all of it. Without playing around with it myself, I don't think I could get the rest simply intuitively. A guide would save everyone hours of figuring out things on our own.
