Yes but does that make my comment useless?
I read this all just now and for me that story is new; as it well might be for many other readers who might learn something useful from it.

yes, i'm sorry to say. it used to be common courtesy to lurk a lot before posting... and basically there was a lot of history behind that exchange that seems to have existed when this forum didn't exist and origamists communicated via a list origami-L, which i was a fleeting part of over a decade ago. in other words, perhaps you shouldn't be trying to snark on a discussion that is potentially a decade old without knowing all the details... and if you'd lurked enough, you would know there were a lot of details that were not in the exchange you quoted, it has nothing to do with dyslexia.

also, being a necromancer with threads that are considered "flame wars" is considered somewhat ill-mannered, as you are opening old wounds that are sometimes best left alone. but do as you like.

Dyslexia causes people to reverse letters while reading or writing. IT DOES NOT CAUSE people to spew out unintelligible nonsense like"ancent dragin yes think modil"! COME ON! It's so obvious that he's just leaving out all the vowels on purpose just to piss people off.

As Bethnor pointed out, you should have done a little bit of research first. Also, if you're going to revive a three year old issue just to leave a useless comment that makes no sense, at least try to make it sound funny.

OK. It's up to admins to delete all the posts they consider useless.
Peace for all!

Sorry, for some reason I just found that incredibly funny. I got my laugh for the day.

Nice dragon Kafar. The red/orange one is a little hard to see the detail on though, maybe try photographing him more from the side like the green one.

Steps 83 - 84

Post by Travis_Origamido »

Hey Guys... First time poster, long time reader.

I know there are many many posts refering to this step (questions AND answers) but none seem to help. The specific trouble i'm having with 83 is that the two layers at this step do not want to be folded in the way the diagrams suggest, and the diagram in step 84 looks like the flap (troublesome extra second layer) doesn't even exist.

Any new insight would be appreciated,
Thanks, Travis.

I'm very glad that you joined our forum! :D
Please feel free to join our discussions.

About the Dragon. I am happy that you didn't make another New Topic about this subject. But you should learn a rule, be a lurker!. This means you look through this thread carefully before posting, especially when asking a question because someone could have already answered that question. If you became a lurker, you could have found this on page 1:

*edit* Blurred the book a bit :)
That will probably answer your question.

Just remember to look before you post!

Have Fun!!! :D
Keep on trying, it will work.

Just open like shown in step 133 and follow the crease lines - it's pretty easy for a guy who's come so far in this model ;)

Use the exisiting crease lines you made in the earlier steps and refer to step 39 on how it should look, its pretty simple. Dont be afraid to open it up abit so you can do the nessesary folds.
