I have a miniature too!

Image
Dog - Hideo Komatsu

Folded from an 8 cm square of what I think is gampi paper.

Also some other recent folds:

Image

Tuojiangosaurus - Fumiaki Kawahata

Folded from a 32 cm square of what I think is mulberry paper, backcoated to itself.

Image

Swallowtail Butterfly - Toshiyuki Meguro

Folded from a 35 cm square of double MC tissue paper (tissue paper back-coated to itself)

I've seen a VERY tiny origami crane and thought it was cool.
Always nice to see more miniature origami being that it must be hard to fold something so small. Congrats to Perrosaurio and Origami Master Jared
Keep the good work guys!
Keep on trying, it will work.

A display in the Origami House in Tokyo has a couple cranes, the last so small you pretty much need their magnifying lense to see, and even then it's barely vivid enough to recognize. I don't remember what it said or how it was folded though...

Yellow Bird by Satoshi Kamiya
Image

I messed up his legs and feet so he doesn't stand but when I do a second fold I'll get it right :) Believe it or not this was actually the first kamiya model I've ever done

African White-Backed Vulture 1.2.
The neck is longer and the legs more under the body enabling it to stand unsupported.
