Maybe not so much "addicted" as to "fascinated". :D
Tesselations aren't a drug. Or not.
Oh, and "you're" is spelled "apostrophe R E" (Chuckles)
My Flickr

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

GAH!
For some reason I forget those little apostrophes sometimes when I type, but I do fine when hand writing :)
And I guess I "fascinated" is better than "addicted"
Thanks for the corrections and advice! :D
Keep on trying, it will work.

Actually I would say I'm addicted
:P

Thanks for your comments! Tessellations are my primary area of designing, but I do a lot of representational folding too. I also design a few animals, but I haven't put many on flickr yet.

Tessellations are a worthy addiction! Many of us have been afflicted... even fewer have escaped  I'll come back to representational folding one of these days...

That dodecagonal twist is just stunning. I wish I had that accuracy...

I really like your work, Oruhito. Both your geometric and representative origami designs look splendid. I'd love to see some CP's of your tessellations. I've only recently become interested in folding tessellations, and I would love to give it a try.

Thank you both for your comments! Adam: Diagramming/drawing CPs is not my forte, but I've gotten interest from different people, so diagrams may be forthcoming for this piece: my octagon insignia. I'll keep everyone updated.

Adam I have an update for you: I have began diagramming the octagon insignia piece. Seeing as the holidays are quickly approaching (as is the Christmas Diagram Book) I thought I would draw something up to contribute. Fortunately it isn't many steps and I should finish soon. Here's some new photos:

Most people don't know that origami is something I do on the side of my main artwork. My main work is painting and drawing. This is a piece I just wrapped up a week or so ago. It's a cast drawing of Michelangelo's dying slave. It isn't exactly origami, but I thought I'd post it if anyone was interested. Does anyone else here on the forum draw or paint? I find that the two art forms are intrinsically related. Origami has helped me be a better painter and vice versa. (If I'm breakin' any forum rules by posting this let me know! It wasn't my intent)

Cheers! And happy holidays
