I use white glue to hold the fold the form in everything I fold. The modulars, in particular Tomoko fuse 60° unit modulars holds very well without any glue, I have only glued the smallest Heinz Strobl modular. All are folded from regular copy paper.

The strips for Heinz Strobl modular are 2 mm and 4 mm width.

Wow, that's really flawless, Origami-artist-galen! It almost makes me want to try that model as well. Actually, I think I will. And Hell's Angel, for your first bug, it looks really great!

Meanwhile, I've folded a swarm of faeries this month :

Blue Faerie
This is the second version of my faerie model. I have upgraded pretty much everything within this version : better hair, better dress, better sleeves, better wings (a second pair too) and even some color changes.

Image

Yellow Faerie
Now this is what I love with this model : it is possible to change almost every details while keeping the basic structure, which leads to a certain «customization» of the model. Here, I've shortened the sleeeves, changed the hair and modified her pose. The wings can also be changed, but I haven't tried that out yet.

Image

Red Faerie
The last of my faerie variations. The hairstyle was my main focus on this one : I wanted to give her a color changed ribbon and I think I've managed to do it. It's also my favorite part of this faerie and I'll probably reuse it in a future model.

More pictures on my flick galery.
