hmmmm interesting CP It looks like the upper right side is the head and the lower left is the tail. the parts on the side with the circles look like the limbs. am i correct?

That looks more like a massively long collapse or accordian fold... and does look like it is less tedious than the typical scales.
Plus, it reminds me of a furry child's toy (no, not a furry child !
, which would crawl forward like an inch worm when you stroked its back....
So, I have that question: Does the model move up and down (undulate) like an inch worm or caterpillar when you stroke one or two fingers down its back from head to tail ?
If that unintended feature does work, I believe that the effect would be an amazing video.
