Two new note folds created by me:

Cat (yes, it has two eyes, the light was just too bright to properly show the second eye on the right)

Monkey, version 2. This is an update to an earlier fold I made of a monkey. I like this one better.

A few money folds.

5IT. I don't recommend dollar bills for this, the rectangle's too short and a lot of beams got bent out of shape when putting it together.

Maybe you are right, but it would be an unusual birthday/christmass gift for a child/grandchild/nephew.
I'll surely steal you this idea

Nice money-folds. The lobster and crab are stylized yet highly detailed (I love how you got the legs and the plates on the lobster from the same set of pleats!). The dollar FIT would probably work if you thinned the dollars a little more. It is supposed to be from 4x1 rectangles, right? A little math could perhaps compensate for the proportions of the paper.

5ITs are made from 1x3 rectangles. One way to thin a dollar would be divide by 5 instead of 4 and have one side of the beam be 3 layers thick and the other side the usual 2 layers thick. But I think with dollar bills, 3 layers might be too thick and the flaps and pockets might not hold too well. You'd need extra fresh dollars and extra sharp folds. So it's possible but not that efficient.

Nativity Scene

Image

Reference:

Image

Although I didn't fold any of the models from diagram, I don't really think its original design because I took reference from Giang Dinh: http://giangdinh.com/fold_figures.html#18

and Sipho Mabona's Nativity Scene,

and Sipho Mabona said himself that the nativity scene was also inspired by Giang Dinh, so basically I kind of took all the reference from Giang Dinh.

The dove was folded from reference painting, and whole set was folded with difference size of 6 uncut square,

one for the angel, one for the mother, one for baby, one for sheperd, one for sheperd's cane, and one for the dove.

This is the first time I tried to fold models from cotton paper, I think this kind of paper is suitable for folding curve designs.

However, since cotton paper absorbs water better than previous papers I used, it takes a while longer to dry from wet folding.

That scene looks really nice-it is hard to get things that simple to look good. Great job!
