Charlie Choo Choo by myself :)

Folded from a 1x4 rectangle of foil paper with black tissue glued onto the white side.

Based on the nice train by Jose Angel Iranzo.

The rails are just a bunch of rectangles, fitted loosely together.
So long and keep folding ^_^

Sometimes you just have to fold the old classics -

Here is the classic flapping bird - well sort of - folded from cellophane and shown in flight between two polarized filters:

I really enjoy "your thinking outside the box " with the cellophane.
Nice play on colours & transparencies...
May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,
with all its peaks & depths, as well as Origami .

Quentin :
I wholeheartedly wish you and your terrific family
a wonderful New Year !
The rewards of seeing a child develop each month, are
unparelled !
As a incurable optimist, I also have to believe
that 2009 will see us gifted with a new book
or assembledge by yourself.
Once again, I can't wait ! ...
May I wish success to all who cope with the mountains & valleys of Life,
with all its peaks & depths, as well as Origami .

Andrey that is beautiful! It must have taken a very long time to fold all of those pleats, but it was worth it.
