You should submit that for the Monthly Folding Challenge. It's a perfect example of colour-changing.
I've fallen down, and I can't get up.

folded lately
Shame you didn't design that a couple of years back... I remember that there was an OUSA challange about designing hermit crabs... this would have been perfect... anyway, great job!
I don't think there is a central location of international Origami challenges.
Here are just a few that I know of:
1. You already know about the monthly challenge in this forum.
2. OUSA 2009 and previous Challenges:
http://www.langorigami.com/art/challenge/challenge.php4
3. And, around the end of the year, you can submit unpublished instructions for original Origami designs for "private" publication in the annual Christmas Book.
You can also submit clean diagrams to the various conventions and magazines.... or 'self-publish'.

And now there is an 'origami Spectacled Bear Challenge", there is a topic on this forum. It sounds interesting, although I haven't checked into it yet.
It also sounds as if Tanteidan will be having a challenge at their convention each year. This past convention there were two challenges (Air, and Year of the Ox) - and Brian Chan won both and received a nice trophy - very stylish.

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.
