Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

Folded lately

Post by cedison »

So a few things I've folded lately are a redo of an older box, a tessellation, some modulars, and a computer based curved bowl.

Unless otherwise noted all things are designed and folded by me.

Nice attempt! It's actually quite different from mine. Different enough that I would say it's your own creation, based on my Clydesdale Head. Did you use a modified fish base? Because mine is nothing like a fish base. It uses book symmetry for one thing.

My next suggestions would be to make the face a little narrower, and the top of the head straighter.

Jared, I also thought you used a Fishy sort of base. Now I'm really intrigued. By the way, I'm also working on a Clydesdale at the moment, will try finish it soon - as soon as my baby duties are over...
Seems like your Clydesdale head was quite inspiring - great stuff!

Nope, no fish base. Much more complicated (though it started out pureland). I might try to take it apart to get the CP.

Good to hear you're working on a Clydesdale. Looking forward to it.

I am planning on reworking the head into a fishy base; for use in a whole horse. I have come cool ideas I still need to put to paper, but I have a couple more urgent things on hand at the moment.

Wow, that Clydesdale is fantastic, Quentin! I think it is my favorite of all of your horses so far. The color changes are tasteful and add greatly to the effect of the model, there is just enough detail, and the shaping perfectly captures the horse. Well done!

Exactly what i wanted to write *g*
Congratulations, this time you hit exactly the right proportions and shaping. Not that your other horses are not good, but this is the best of all :-)
