Note to Origami-Brasil:

Diego, the URL to your blog has a typo:

My Blog: http://origami-brasil.bloGspot.com

The "G" in blogspot is missing. Great site !

Vykintas73 : You folded that with a 32cm sided square !!! It looks pretty good though. You should really try to fold it with a bigger square so you could shape the details better.

As for me, here's my creations from january :

Black Mage
It's the black mage in the original Final Fantasy style. I found out a good way to make pointy hats and had to try it out (I might make something else like a witch eventually). I definitely need to rework the neck part.

White Mage
I just couldn't a Black Mage without a White one. Also in the original Final Fantasy style, with the red patterns and all. The final result looks pretty good in my opinion, but I REALLY need to work more on the hood (I think it looks better on this picture...)

Angel Ver.1.3
An upgrade of my previous angel model. The upgrade includes bigger wings, longer and different hair and slightly longer sleeves.

Image

Scarecrow
I really went with the «used up» theme on this one, with the old hat and almost entirely ripped up coat. The neck is similar to the Black Mage's and thus needs some work as well.

Hah, your scarecrow definitely reminded me of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. What a jovial guy.

Thanks a lot HankSimon! I hope Google Translation is working well...

Victoria Serova, thank you too. I may try to fold it as soon as I have time

And I've folded either Tran Trung Hieu's Black Mage from CP and I'll post it with tips as soon as possible...

Yes, I know that but I like smaller paper because it poses the bigger challenge. Everyone could fold from large sheets ;) Although it is important not to go to opposite extreme - with sheets too small there's no way to shape everything.

Hehehe, I haven't thought about that! I liked spending my time playing random stuff on the ocarina for him. Maybe I could do a variation of my scarecrow to make it look like the one in Ocarina of time...

Wow, thanks Origami_8! Though I can't really say that I'm a «master» of origami yet.

Anermak : All of my models are made with homemade foil (two tissue papers glued onto aluminum foil). And I'd like to return the question to you. What paper did you use for the silverfish (which looks great by the way)?

Noboru Miyajima's Wizard's Apprentice

Image

Fernando Gilgado's Jester. This is a fun fold, the face is quite clever and adds a lot of character

Image

Quentin Trollip's Gorilla - I'd recommend buying License to Fold just for this model, I love it! Took a while to figure out the head shaping and I certainly didn't do the face justice.

Hey, I think you already know my seal...

But now I've just finished photodiagrams, if someone would like to spend some 3 minutes to fold it... See here.
