Cool!

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

Praying mantis by Robert J. Lang folded yesterday evening before going to bed from 15x15cm Korean Hanji:

Well, my cat found it tonight sitting on my desk, ready to take a picture as soon as the light is better and confused it with a real one. Obviously he thought it tasted a bit strange because he decided to wash it in his water dish. Unfortunately it seems, it didn't taste better afterwards
By the way, usually my cat isn't interested in my Origami, so I didn't even think on the possibility of keeping it somewhere save...

Oh no! Sorry about your praying mantis. If it makes you feel any better, my attempts at that model look about the same, even without a cat getting a hold of it.

Ahah Anna.
In Italy we say "we are on the same boat"

Yesterday night one of my two cats has give its attentio to my spider.
I was so proud of it (my first real eight-legged spider) that I've put it hanging from my kitchen chandelier...
It was the first time for me too of such an accident
Well, but I love anyway my cats and my dog more than my origami

What a funny coincidence
Probably we should be glad that our models made someone happy for some moments, so they found a good end after all.
Somehow it seems my cat knows that he did something wrong because he didn't dare to come near me half of the day.
Maybe we should take it as a sign and fold the models again. Who knows, maybe we can improve our folding.
