Peter Engel's New Book

Post by mike352 »

I just saw the cover of Peter Engel's new book on Amazon. It's called "10-Fold Origami: Fabulous Paperfolds You Can Make in 10 Steps or Less". The stated release date is October 7, 2009.

In case you haven't seen this article on Bernie Peyton's blog, http://tinyurl.com/apd297 , Peter Engel has been focusing lately on minimum number of folds.

For example: Step one - make blintzed frog base or make 64x64 grid...

I am working on the similar theme these days.

EDIT: I have an idea. We can start new contest - improvised folding after sketch diagram. For example (box-pleating is very suitable):
1. make grid 30x30
2. collapse six legs
3. final shaping
4. post your picture
