You might be thinking of Lang's Cuckoo Clock from the Complete Book of Origami. That one has an action function (working cuckoo). That's my only guess. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

That ain't origami--it's papercraft. Origami is about folding paper. Papercraft is constructing stuff by gluing paper together.
