Contrary to your belief, I think he looks pretty good! :)
He has a sort of "jolly fat man" character to him, which reminds me of someone, whose name I just can't remember. :?

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

But I think is better in the photo :D
I have some trouble make the expression.
I spend hours to make the face.

I found a good way to do the face. Sink the top triangle upwards to get two flaps inside, squash fold these to make eyes and use the edge on top for eyebrows. Then rabbit ear the second flap and then squash fold for the nose. the last two flaps can be stretched (kind of like an elias stretch) for a beard, and I put a pleat in to form a mouth.

Well, including time spend for making tissue foil, measuring refference points and making CP on that sheet, then folding.. ;)
Anyway, Thank you (:

Screw it, if everyone else is folding dwarves, despite my inexperience with CPs, I'm going to give this a go *Stand back*... :p

By the way, thanks for posting the CP.

There is a CP in Tanteidan 13, that has more pleats on the bottom 2 thirds, not to mention diagrams. Worth investing in.

Those diagrams are also available to me on the French site posted and in BOS magazine June 2007 (although I am no longer a member, I still have some back issues).

I have finally gotten round to completing the figure's base. Now I just need to add finishing touches. I will post a picture of my dwarf soon.

Sorry for poor quality, phone camera. Strangely, the base looked pretty perfect, the problems began with the final shaping...
