I attempted Robert Lang's Black Forest Cuckoo Clock for the first time today. I took me about 5 1/2 hours to turn a paper with size 20cm x 198.5cm (don't ask) into a clock that's 30cm x 15cm x 5cm.

Araknoid: those are cute - I'm not familiar with them, are they in one of Yoshihisa-San's books?

I took a quick break to have some breakfast after about 2 hours. I also had a couple of 15 or so second stretches. My, was that stone floor hard! And you can't say I had a good posture while folding.

@ InsomniacFolder: you can find the diagrams for the kappa on one page in origami tanteidan 11th convention, and on the other page there are diagrams for a tanuki, too!
both models are from two squares.

Hello all,

I've folded Jason Ku's Pteranodon, from bannana paper with dried leaves in it.

This is by far my favorite model I have folded recently.

I'm experimenting with some new techniques that I might incorporate in my next entry.
This is more of a generic "common man" face and not yet a "Famous Face", I need to sculpt the facial features to get a more recognizable famous personality.

If and when I get the final product I will share a few of the "secrets" of this face.
