Nice Ryujin, barakboom. Though it was low quality kraft, it still looks good. Keep it up!

Thanks.
I think i will buy the craft paper from origamishop and than i will fold it again :D.
Also it took me a while to understand how to fold some parts (like the head and the hind legs) so the paper almost rip apart, and it lost its shape, and this made folding it even harder.
Also the paper wasn't a fine square, i couldn't cut it very well before folding
 .

Happy folding.

To SYY99,

I think you had better try some CPs because, identifying your post, you are a diagram hunter. And if there are diagrams of Ryu Zin, many people will fold it and post pictures everywhere!

Moreover, there is no diagram on Kamiya's phoenix.

Rather nice but really untidily folded, like me! Anyway, do you know how to insert images? You could insert it by:

Good try street racer on the ryuzin. To me, its an accomplishment just to complete the model.

What kind of paper did you use?

He either used tissue foil, double tissue or tracing paper.

Or Kraft paper, which seems to be the normal choice for folding the Ryu-Zin.

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

I'm guessing tracing paper. That or double tissue. If he made it out of tissue foil, it would not be so translucent.

Seeing all these great ryu jins.... I realize that my scales really did turn out horrible. While I still dont really have the desire to fold it again... I wish i had taken more time to make the scales as nice and defined as Barakboom's or Ftangdude's. I suppose a few Lang kois are in order.

It's still a feat to be able to fold the Ryujin.
