Haha, it's not worth color-changing the eye. I could do it I think, but it wouldn't be easy and it'd make that part of the model so much more complex, it's really not worth it.

@topsu, no it doesn't really affect the folding very much if a very thin coat is used.

@InsomniacFolder: This is almost all of my books, actually; the rest is printed out diagrams, Imagiro magazines, and cd/dvd books (which don't look nearly as nice on a shelf!)

Love the hoopoe Andrew. What's your favorite book in your collection? I've been folding horses; one from Roman Diaz:

and one from Quentin Trollip:

Nice horses Penselen, and 'moody' photography - the images are a touch small to see the detail though.
Still, a good job of two masterful designs.

Nice horses, Penselen. The horse by Roman Diaz is graceful and beautiful. I really like the posture! However, the mane looks quite awkward.
For the Quentin Horse, it should look nice, but the paper makes it look like a dog.

Jared, I like the colour changes and especially the 3d effect you gave to the head, which is an added dimesion.
tanvuong, though the school girl looks wonderful, I prefered the original, though that may be due to the lighting.

Thanks guys!

Nope, the only thing it has in common with the Clydesdale is that it uses book symmetry also. And that it has no arms or legs.

At first, but Heidi's a much more appropriate choice. She really doesn't look that much like Pam.
