My sad attempt at Lang's Hummingbird.

Image

I had major problems on step 32, not sure what I was supposed to do. Also couldn't get the belly part to lock in under the head like instructed. Does someone have a solution for these problems? I really wanna get this model down good.

The attempt on the Lang hummingbird is good, but like me, the paper ruins it. Still, it is good.
ptrckngn, the chinese dragon is alright, though too lizardlike.
Daydreamer, the minotaur is.... superb! The choice of paper is good and the detail on the face is priceless! I like the fact that he seems pompous and fat! Good Job!

ArmyTim, you should really use better paper. I'd recommend tissue foil for this one as it is easy shapeable and holds in place even if plain paper wouldn't.

penselen, nice rounding of the head and head detail, I also like the use of color changes in the pants, hair and arms. Well done!!!

Very interesting subject and good examination. The trousers are very nice with all those spots. Good work!

I concur. To me, the face is slightly Joisel-esque. I really like it! :)
My Flickr

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

I tried tracing paper, but the head flap wasn't strong enough to hold the belly, but I am thinking that has to do with my crappy completion of step 32. I should be heading to the store today, I will see if they have tissue paper, then I will attempt to make some foil.
