@! I like the model and would also like to see diagrams for it. I'd love to give it a try and see how to fold it

Yo! Nice crane with a crazy name. and tail.
I'd love to fold it, and thanks for your generosity.
Speaking of generosity, here are four pigs that the designers gave to the ori-community. Thanks gents for your time and talents!

CW from top left: Quentin Trollip, Hsi Min Tai, Petr Stuckly, and Hans Birkeland

Re: Ostentatious Crane
I'd be interested in seeing diagrams for it. It's a fascinating variation.
By the way, what do we call you? "!" is sometimes pronounced as "Bang" in coding jargon, or should we call you Joe as your deviantART username suggests?

I'll definetly try this one sometime - a lifelike dragonfly is one of the models I've been dreaming already over 15 years ago. And your guide will be of great help with the CP, thank you!ftangdude55 wrote:This is an old one - Lang's Dragonfly Varileg. I made a photo-guide for this model a while ago.
However, something is not quite correct with it. You have the body lying on top of the wings, which looks a bit strange.
Robert Lang has the wings on top of the body, where they're supposed to be.

Seems that at some point, some part of the structure must be inverted. Any idea?
DIAGRAMS
Ya, call me Joe.
I've made diagrams...took me forever. They're all freehand on the computer, so they don't look all that great. If you see and errors just pm me and I'll get a list of fixes and release a final version. I apologize for the small text in advance.

A Scorpion that is heavily inspired by Patricia Crawford's. Made from a frog base, with two points split for the legs, and the rest for the claws and tail.
Made from 15cm gold foil.

Made from my favorite method of design, doodling.
Nice robin! Very clean.

The hedgehog is good, Henriq, thanks for showing the underside too. You also did a great job with the spikes. Is that printer paper???
Fanatic, the scorpion is pretty good. Though unsegmented and having limited detail, it is easily recognizable. Well done!!!
Nathan, nice job with the Robin. That's why its always good to make improvements to a deisgn. The toes look awesome!!!
xxwerdxx, the crab is pretty good, how's the hermit crab going???
