Same model, different kind of paper

Image
I have tried to fold this model with different kind of papers.
My first attempt was with mulberry 80gr and as you can see its hard to model the paper.
Second attempt was with silk paper 20gr without back coating.
Folding such a light paper was hell, but at the end, I guess the result is not bad at all.
My third attempt will be with double silk paper treated with methyl cellulose ;-)

eteokles, the mantis out of tissue is pretty good, however, I thought mulberry was very thin?

First model I've folded in months; a dragon folded with tant paper
Image
Had a few issues with the thickness (78 g/m²), but I'm pretty happy with the final result.

Here's a mouse I designed with the sole intention of obtaining a tail that was twice as long as he was.

nice work with quite a lot of paper to fold - when did you start with or how many hours did you spend on folding it?

nice lion mask! yes, wizmatt, the mask-booklet by eric joisel is a treasure, indeed. i hope, i'll get my own issue one day. unfortunately the bos-store is closed for quite a while now and it seems to be the only source to get the booklet from. temporarily i use the loan of a generous friend to learn from and become inspired by ...

so here's a second try on the 3d-base, this time with kraft paper in a equal size:
