Thanks - I'm pretty sure correct paper helps
But this is still a far shot from the original ! Actually, my dwarf's face is on the verge of giving in, no way it would sustain more working on.
I used 28gr/m^2 Kraft sized with MC, 50cm, which was a lot of fun to fold - though this is close to heresy to Mr Joisel, who much favours thicker papers (or at least foil sandwich).
I am certain he is right, given the state of the face...

Same here mate, the paper I used tore slightly in the facial area, thankfully, it wasn't fatal, and the little fella livedgachepapier wrote:Thanks - I'm pretty sure correct paper helpsBut this is still a far shot from the original ! I used 28cm tissue-foil for my Dwarf. Handmade tissue-foil looks nice
My flickr gallery. Come to visit and leave feedback.
this is my finished dwarf
it's my first cp fold, so im very proud of it!! it's missing some modeling and shaping, but can't get to do any good wet-fold, the paper get's all broken
i've triyed it on the feets, and you can see the results

i used common library paper, here it's called "papel afiche" traducted as poster paper, about 50x50cm and changed some proportions (nice looking error hehe)

Xander Arena has a nice sword design, published awhile ago in the BOS magazine.
We could do with a line of dwarf accessories.
I've got an idea for a wheelbarrow..
