Yeah, I tried it twice and decided it didn't work for me. This one I made with white glue, rolled onto the foil. Much easier, not stinky at all, and the result is far better. It's a win win. :)

Thanks! Hearing that (esp from you) really makes me proud of my first attempt with making tissue foil with white glue. I basically followed the steps described at http://freenet-homepage.de/origamichris/foliert.htm
I watered down the glue by quite a bit though (maybe 1:1), and taped the foil so that it did not move around.
I might do a video. I wouldn't really be saying anything new, but I do think it would have its audience, especially with audio added that explains what's going on.

it was just a kind of workshop I gave that day. I think I asked the ladies what colours to take and we all know where this can lead to

I folded Mooser's Train from the CP in ODS out of tissue foil at a folding session with a friend of mine.

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

Wow, so many good entries in the last while, I feel bad for posting this... as it is only a test fold from normal kami...
Donkey from an uncut square.
Inspired by the donkeys of Renee Mollo and Roman Diaz.

I love the Donkey Mr. Trollip! Reminds me of the classic game "Buckaroo".

Anyhoo, here's my first attempt at Eric Joisel's "Coc". Ooh err.

Folded from a 50cm square of kraft paper, 40gsm.

I wish my test folds looked like that. Really like it, but I'm guessing it's hard to get that donkey to balance on two legs...
I'm still awaiting your book eagerly. Any news (time, models included, etc)?
