maybe you guys were a bit late? I can't see how you were rejected, both, but especially Merman's diagrams are very high standard. I'm boggled!

Hmm I submitted my Chinese Crane, whose diagrams are on my Flickr site...
Then again: I never gave them the address of my Flickr site...
Last year another design was rejected, but that could be because of the bad quality of the diagram scans
But maybe someday in the near futur one or two of my designs may get published

I submitted them many many months ago... In April or something... I never even was sure my e-mails were delivered... I had to send 4 of them for all the high quality scans...qtrollip wrote:maybe you guys were a bit late? For some strange reason I can't find it again but I remember to have read somewhere that they like to have files that can be changed afterwards. Preferable Freehand or Illustrator or in the worst case pdf. They also offer style sheets that define exactly what to place where so that everything looks equal in format. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to find them: http://www.origami.gr.jp/Convention/15th/index.html
I remember having seen those style sheets translated to English but really can't remember where.

Do you need to send clear diagrams drawed on PC with high quality software, or it's enough to draw it by hand, then scan, an they will Re-draw those?

They don't redraw diagrams. They do alter the layouts. Origami House uses Macromedia Freehand, and whatever other software, which can open PDFs and move stuff within. They moved a bunch of steps in my Bear 2 around. (See Tanteidan 14th Convention Book) I had sent a PDF.
And completely new designs means unpublished diagrams.
