Eagle by Sara Adams: Review diagrams
Hi All,
I designed an eagle, and it'd be great if some of you could test fold it and tell me what you think about the diagrams. You may, of course, also comment on the design itself.

I'm so excited you decided to do diagrams for your challenge entry! I love him. He does have a lot of the essence of Cuong's eagle and yet his clean lines and stylised form give him his own personality. As for the diagrams they were pretty straight forward. I personally would have like a few more landmarks so I knew where to put the crimps especially the ones by the head because I think I was too conservative and did do a large enough crimp for my bird in the end was still kind of flat and not more rounded in the back and wing like yours is. Otherwise great model, I will have to give it another try soon and see if I can get a better result
Here is a picture of the model on my first attempt, took about 10 minutes for me to fold.

Updated diagrams
Hi all,
thanks for your feedback. I've updated the diagrams.
I'd thought that the paper colour symbol always showed the colour-side up. In any case, I've rotated it now.
I also decided to discard the attempt at squeezing everything into one page. The diagrams are now two pages, which allowed me to split step 1 into two steps and step 2 into three steps. I also increased the size of the pictures, which should help if you decide to print the diagrams.
I hope I also clarified some of the later steps, in particular the petal fold and the locking of the crimps.
Finally, I was made aware that the finished eagle missed the edge that separates the body from the neck, which is now also drawn in.
Have a look if you like the diagrams better now.
