madarko's 'old' dragon

Post by madarko »

since two people said they liked my old dragon (thank you Anna and Sara) I decided to diagram it and post it on here for everyone to enjoy - if you have any suggestions for improvements to either the diagrams or the model, please let me know and I'll get on the case.

A very nice model although I really need to refold it with more suitable paper. Here is the first one I folded with iridescent patterned Origami paper.

Btw. Chris, Madarko asked for pictures of finished models not for his own picture...

Here's my rendition from a 15cm square of plain white paper:

Any chance I can get your full name, so that I can give you proper credits on my website? See http://www.happyfolding.com/gallery-orme-dragon

Also, I'm not sure how permanent those diagrams are if you only store the images with photobucket. Will you post them somewhere more permanent?

Thanks for the info. As you mentioned that I could upload the diagrams to wherever I like, I decided to put the pictures in a pdf and add a cover page. See them at http://www.happyfolding.com/diagrams or directly: http://www.happyfolding.com/files/Orme-Dragon.pdf

Hope you like them.

it's all good - if no one ever diagrammed origami models, i never would've learned, so diagramming my stuff and putting it out there is just my way of giving back to the origami world

thanks a lot for all the very positive responses - i love you all

and i'm just a little bit drunk too 8)
have fun.
