Lion, by Satoshi Kamiya.

Not fun to fold. Somehow the ears disappeared, and I know I did the mane wrong. Folded from the CP.

I had a second go at Sipho Mabona's Faun :

I also added a layer for the nose, since some of the paper is unused in the CP

Among my folds' other failings, the upper body does not look very organic to me, any advice would be welcome.

My Tanteidan 14+15 arrived yesterday, and the first model I folded (surprisingly not Cuong's owl) is Marc Kirschenbaum's Cutie Cat:

I'm not quite happy with the eyes yet.

Hi Sara
Why not cuong's owl?
Do you think is diagrammed the same way of eagle?
I tried to fold the eagle and after lot of problem and waste of time stucked definitely on step 78-79 ! it is just like reading a good book but filled with a lot of grammar and syntax errors.
Is this the way to bublicate a diagram??

Nice Cicada Nymph, Hell's angel :)

My latest fold: Balrog, designed by Jason Ku, folded by me:
the design is a bit bulky, so it looks kinda funky, but...

My Flickr

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

what exactly are you having problems with?

78-79 just has you essentially box-pleating to form the pleats for the wings. this is actually where the model starts getting fun (everything up until then is a chore).

Well that's just a matter of shaping...

Anyway, here's a new tessellation I was working on yesterday:

Jason's Balrog actually looks like this: Link

Here you can see my (very different) interpretation:

The problem is this: the images correspond with my foldings up to step 78 but starting from 78-1/2 79 etc.. does not corrispond anymore!
I ripped everything but next week i'll give another try and i'll make some photo too. I'll let you know how the work will go on!
Thank for your post and for your future help
ciao
