i folded weber's wren and ibis, a sea turtle (diagram from an origami-a-day calendar), Gabriel Álvarez's "Dédalo" (Daedalus), and a lily. all from memory, using 3" paper. (i leave out a few of the leg finishing steps in daedalus because the model is so small, but it seems to work.

i fold some or all of these and a few more traditional folds on a daily basis. i have been trying to add kirschenbaum's elephant to my repertoire but it is busting my chops so if anyone has tips... step 17 is the one killing me. http://dev.origami.com/images_pdf/africanelephant.pdf honestly this is the main reason i joined the forums.

i hope to post photos of some of my models very soon.

There are many things named Morning Glory (even a cloud), perhaps Miss Fuse was inspired by this flower:

Can you see the star?

Cicada by Robert J. Lang folded from a 22cm square of MC-treated double tissue paper.

This is the third attempt which finally turned out nicely (without tears and not too crumpled).
So long and keep folding ^_^

Ant by Robert Lang from Origami Isects and their Kin.

This is my first complex fold and I am really pleased that I managed to see the diagram all the way to the end.

Is the ant in Origami Insects II much harder?

I think I need to work on the closed sink for the back bit of the model a bit more. as well as the head detail. I only have copier paper so molding the legs and antennae was getting rather tricky towards the end.

Though not all that complex, the ant in II is harder (this is merely a matter of my opinion). Also, you don't really need to do a closed-sink on the back; I never did.

Apart from that, it looks pretty neatly folded.

The paper problem can be remedied rather easily: You can easily and inexpensively make tissue foil (which is very nice for folding insects), or you could buy some MC and make double-tissue.
