That is correct both of Lang's models are made with the making paper I used for Hojyo's buddah. I have also a roll of green but there is a crease in the roll... and it is not as good in my opinion. I found the green being very sensitive to moisture (just by touching it)
It really like this paper and it's quite cheap! I just wish they were making roll larger than 18" wide.
Have you folded anything with yours yet?

I just did some test folds of Langs Tree Frog using the 9 inch green and brown masking paper. Yes, the green tends to be sensitive to moisture, but the color was close for a frog.
I will try paint the brown paper, perhaps just on one side for insects (a la Sipho Mabona lately). Also I will use a larger sheet for the frog as 9 inch is just too small.
But all in all I am pretty happy with this stuff, thanks for the tip!
Oh, and for these two Lang models, did you use the full 18x18 inch? They look great btw!

Just recently folded Lang's Tarantula, I think it turned out nicely, but the mouth is a little screwy.

Your talk of masking paper has me intrigued enough to go to a local Lowe's and give it a shot, sooner or later. Meanwhile, I have found 36" masking paper in multiple places (googled it). It's expensive, but with a roll of 750', you'll probably never need to buy it again. If you go through that site, they have a few other colors, too.strolgen wrote:@ Pixion

I folded the Rose Box by Shin Han Gyo
and then I made a modification by adding a blintz and obtained a color change:

Making roses AGAIN. Another modification...

Still trying to get them to look as realistic as possible, with little tiny steps at a time.

Every road goes toward Rome, and Paulius probably knows a lot of it!!WhisperPuffin wrote:Paulius, where are the diagrams/CP for the Angelfish? Or did you go to the convention in Verbania?
