Dragon

Image

I designed this model over ten years ago, and have incorporated a few tweaks into the design over the years. I have probably folded it more than any other origami model. There is currently one sitting on the Paediatric Accident and Emergency desk (or 'Emergency room' for our USA chums) in the hospital which I currently work in, along with a camel, a pig, a few dinos, and some daffodils folded when I was working on Mother's day (UK date).

Here is a link to some diagrams:

I once set up an origami PLC. But the business folded.

It's been a while... Thanks to college, and other things I'm starting to get involved in, origami has been less of a priority. However, I did get to fold some over spring break.

I'm really happy with how this one turned out, especially after my less than great first attempt at this model.

Fishgoth, I like the head detail on your dragon a lot. The shaping of the eyes and mouth is very expressive.

Artur, lovely rhino with bulk in all the right places.

I folded my first tissue foil. It's Kamiya Satoshi's Hercules Beetle.

Congrats Paulius!!! It looks amazing for your first try, and the head looks so clean. Most heads look messy. Good job.

i've been on this forum for a couple years but have never had the courage to post any folds (that, and no camera). now that i've got an iphone, i'm all set on experimenting. bear with me.

Image

satoshi kamiya cerberus 1.1 from 25" american foil purchased from OUSA '08. i got frustrated with the forelegs and didn't finish the detailings on the claws.

Image

fumiaki kawahata ankylosaurus. i used to hate this model, but now i love it. folded from 35 cm nicolas terry foil.

Image

shuki kato spinosauruses folded from 35 cm tant. a beautiful theropod model. i'm so grateful for the free diagrams!

wow. i thought the pics would turn out to be too grainy.
