Actually, your photo inspired me to make my interpritation. I bet your cat looks good, and it is the lack of a camera that is not doing your model a favor. And also, I to messed up on the diagrams. In real life, my model is bad. I spent a while looking for a good angle.

satoshi kamiya ancient dragon from 25" foil bought at OUSA. i love the final look for the model, but the folding process is not fun at all until you start forming the claws. even with foil, the model is so thick at the forelegs.

satoshi kamiya smilodon from 35 cm nicolas terry foil.

Image

robert lang bull moose from 15" american foil bought from OUSA. this model needs to be thicker around the head.

Image

fumiaki kawahata allosaurus from 35 cm nicolas terry foil. a lot of folks seem disappointed with the new tanteidan special edition diagrams, but i just wanted to post this pic to show what beautiful dinosaurs he's designed. i believe he was the first to fold theropods this way to really make them physiologically correct, and many designs have sprung up since with a similar mold.

I think yor folds are pretty good.

The choice of foil however may not be optimal for some of the models, like the dragon and the moose.

Your folding is fine, Bethnor! You just need to try them with some nicer paper, now!

lesnan, your shaping of these figures is spectacular! Wonderful works.

Here is a praying mantis from Robert Lang, altered abdomen, neck, and head. Someday I'll make the whole thing myself :lol: : Image

@penselen:
It looks very good, but what paper is it? All I can tell is that it looks thick.

@artur:
Where did you find the CP? I can't find it anywhere on Chan's site.
