I folded a chocobo with, for the first time, lace paper. I had only folded commercial papers until a foreign exchange student I know from Japan mailed me many different papers from washi to lace, this was my first attempt with lace and I though it folded nicely.

There's been alot of cheeta-ing around lately for the year of the tiger! Maybe Tiger himself started the trend and only just got away from the 9-iron?

Whatever the reason for all the cheeta-ing these days, I thought I'd join in the fun.
After seeing Ricky Donachi's excellent two-piece running cheetah a number of years ago, I wanted to make a one-piece. Then I came up with a way of colour-changing for the Raccoon's tail. And then David Llangue presented his fantastic cheetah here:

So alot of things came together all at once and I jumped on the cheetah-wagon also!

Designed and dry-folded from an uncut square of black tissue mc'ed onto washi. Fully closed-back except for the tail.

Funny model. I think you got the pose very good, only the head doesn't look right to me. It somehow is too long, but the colourchanges there are great.
Congratulations on a very good model.
