This morning I realised I haven't posted to this thread in a long time. Well, here's what I folded this morning:

Ring Tailed Lemur by Roman Diaz

Cute Lemur Sara!

I folded something from Román Díaz as well, but from his other book "Origami for Interpreters". It's the main model why I wanted this book, his ingenious Elephant. The paper is 20cm tissue foil paper from Nicolas Terry's shop.

Two topics are tolerable, three are getting annoying and four or more could lead us to delete some...

Actually Grizzly-Man, you should be proud that Froy managed to identify it as a primate of some variety. I think that speaks volumes about your ability to convey the essential simian features of the animal, yes?

Inspired by Sara I decided to give the Ringtailed Lemur another go. The first time I folded it I wasn't fully satisfied and that may partly have had to do with my paper choice. This time I used Terry tissue foil paper glued onto black tissue paper with MC, although it was a bit thick to fold with, I like the result. As mentioned above the model is by Román Díaz and diagrams can be found in his book "Origami Essence". Starting size was 20x20cm.

Folded from 35 x 35 cm tracing paper. I've taken some liberties in shaping it, especially the feet and tail.
