Kawasaki Rose- yet another design

Post by asdfasdfjohndoe »

This is for those who love to make and give roses to others. It is another variation of what you can make with the Kawasaki design. This is the design and modification I come to after hundreds of k-roses.

Like a no-namer as John Doe, I am sharing the flower because I don't have a girl friend to make it a secret symbol of. But I did give it to my Mom though. I hope you enjoy it!

Note: everything is made by me, no sweat, of course

Oh my gosh! Was that Warcraft 3 you were playing in the back? ;)

Oh, and lovely rose variation. The video is indeed very informative and well made. Perhaps I'll try folding it tomorrow.

This is very nice.

Are the leaves below the standard kawazaki rose leaves?

Thanks for all the acknowledgments and encouraging comments guys!

I actually improvised the leaf designs myself. The single leaves are simply made from 1/2 of a bird base. You make it by tugging one of the flaps inside, which would be the stem, and the other, the leaf. The triple leaves are very similar to the standard Kawasaki leaves, except mine is a little bit clumsier, well, I came up with it anyhow. Cheers.

Yes, it is very nice! One of the best variations I've seen :D

I just hope it is not as nice as the variation I'm working on, but yours seems to look better! Although I've never actually folded an entire rose of my variation... yet :)
