First attempt with elephant hide.
Second attempt with Fabriano Ingres. It seems like elephant hide is really the better choice for wetfolding. The watercolour paper i used got really soft and weak upon wetting.

Heyy what a coincidence. Another unicorn. This one is by Nishida Satner (from CP). My rendition is not as nice as the original one though:

Finally got around to adjusting and wet-finishing this pegasus.
Design by Satoshi Kamiya
Folded by me out of a single 12 inch sheet of paper. This is that same kind of foil that Nicolas Terry started selling recently...I painted the non-metallic side with an acrylic/MC mixture.
Also, yes, to those who know, I am aware I screwed up the neck...I skipped an entire step, like a newbie...

The Apprentice is adorable ... I love how it looks like he's waddling somewhere.

btw, fanatic, i quite enjoyed your traditional models folded from aizome.
if you weren't aware, you might enjoy some of the "exclusive" papers from paperjade. i particularly like their crane theme packages.
