not to be rude, but that is utter poppycock. kasahara was right back when; cats are hard to design because origami by nature is somewhat linear, but modern origami has made many advances.Metangas wrote: and almost none really capture the nature of cats.

No, I do not disagree, even in the slightest, it's just that, compared to the sheer amount of cats I've seen, these top notch masterpieces of cats only account for a smaller percentage of the whole. (Though they're still, and will always be masterpieces, outshining the competition
)
And I also agree on the fact that modern origami has made many advances. Better cats (and everything else I know of on the spot) DO appear, and fortunately, quite often.
